In consideration of modern music

In consideration of modern music created by youth - youthful exuberance is a wonderfully creative thing. However. If I were responsible for a young person's music education, they wouldn't TOUCH an electronic musical device for at least 18 months. Consider it like an apprenticeship - They gotta learn how music and instruments work before they can do anything meaningful electronically.

In defense of this, I recall the Siemens apprenticeship program which prepares young people to be machinists. They ultimately work with nothing but CAD/CAM machines. However, they work metal using files for a minimum of 6 months-2 years. Siemens says it teaches them how metal works and operates. Isn't that great?
